- Wendalyn is one of the only two Sims introduced in PC version of MySims to have appeared in a Wii game. The other one is Alexa Lexington.
- Wendalyn's Cauldron Creations music is played at Violet Nightshade's Abode in MySims Kingdom.
- In her bio, she makes a refrence to Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
- Wendalyn's Aunt Elphaba is probably named after or is Elphaba Thropp, a fictional character in the novel and Broadway show Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire.
- The Gingerbread Man Essence house that her aunt lived in is a reference to "Hansel and Gretel or Grandma Ruthie's House in Spookane before you redesign it.
