Hi MySims Wiki,
I am writing this blog post in hopes of receiving your approval to become an administrator. I've noticed that the current active user base was not around when I first joined the wiki, so allow me to introduce myself. I'm Summm1, and I have edited MySims Wiki on and off since March 2010. The Sims series (including every MySims game) was a touchstone of my childhood and mean a lot to me even to this day. These games served as an outlet for my creativity and a distraction when I felt low. In 2016, after making over 10,800 edits, I stopped visiting the wiki as frequently in order to get a job and focus on my education. However, I still remembered MySims and my time on the wiki fondly. Now, I am a college graduate and I work from home. On a whim, I re-installed MySims PC, and believe it or not, it still holds up in making me laugh and helping me exercise my creativity. I began browsing the wiki while playing, and I was inspired to start editing again. I've noticed that there are many articles that are missing sources, images, dialogues, and descriptions, and frankly, could just be better organized. I am willing and able to help. I have been an administrator on the Kesha Wiki since 2020, so I am already comfortable with the responsibilities an administrator holds.
Please comment below and let me know your thoughts; I'd love to hear from you. Also, check out my discussion post about my accessibility concerns on the wiki, if you haven't already. Thanks for reading!
