Travis

Travis is a young man with a good heart. He loves to party and have fun, and is always up-to-date with the newest cell phones. He used to be CEO of a party supply company, before retiring at a young age. He is a student at the Royal Academy, and a journalist for the Sims World Racing Magazine. He is also a minigame host and is the very first recruit for the Sim Protection Agency.

Relationships

Chaz McFreely

In MySims, Chaz and Travis will usually get along in since they both love fun, but may occasionally argue since Chaz dislikes Geeky, Travis' secondary interest.

In MySims Kingdom, they butt heads. Travis thinks Chaz is selfish and arrogant, and Chaz thinks Travis isn't extreme enough. However, Travis is still considerate of Chaz when he asks the Royal Wandolier to decorate their dormitory.

In MySims Agents, Travis does not mention going to school with Chaz, but still appears to dislike him. Although they are not shown interacting, Travis will complain about Chaz's ego if sent on his dispatch mission, The Extremest Case. Conversely, Chaz never mentions Travis to the player.

Summer

In MySims, Travis and Summer will usually get along in since they both love fun, but may occasionally argue since Travis dislikes Cute, Summer's second interest.

In MySims Kingdom, Travis and Summer are friends, but Summer has a one-sided crush on Travis. Travis helps Summer find Filbert when he runs away, which Summer mistakes as a sign that he likes her. She is angered when Travis says he would do that for anyone. At the dance, Travis will ask the wandolier to help him pick his date, meaning he has no preference over Summer and Liberty.

In MySims Agents, they do not mention each other. They do not interact since they never appear at the same location and since Summer does not have any dispatch missions.

Liberty

In MySims, Travis and Liberty may get along or argue with each other. Travis likes Liberty's primary interest (Geeky) but dislikes her second interest (Cute).

In MySims Kingdom, Travis and Liberty are friends, but Libery has a one-sided crush on Travis. Liberty is saddened when Travis says he is more interested in his phone than dating. Travis reveals that they have a study date planned, but he's late due to accepting Chaz's dare to go on the Extreme-O-Tron. He asks the wandolier to make Liberty a friendship bracelet, which actually upsets Liberty further since she wants to be more than friends. At the dance, Travis will ask the wandolier to help him pick his date, meaning he has no preference over Liberty and Summer.

In MySims Agents, the one-sided crush continues. Travis will mention that he goes to school with Liberty on her dispatch mission.

Possible crushes

In MySims, Travis says he thinks Annie Radd, DJ Candy Supergroove, and Ginny are "kinda cute." In MySims Party, he says Annie and Candy are "kinda cute" again. He even has posters of them in his bedroom in his minigame, Missed Call.

In MySims Party, he says Violet Nightshade is kinda cute and that he wants to call her.

Travis has short blond hair, styled the same as Chaz McFreely's hair, and Poppy's black eyes. His mouth is in a wide grin, just like Rhonda's. Travis wears a brown beaded necklace, a creme colored button down shirt under a sweater with a Union Jack. He also wears thin wristbands on each wrist, brown pants, and brown shoes.

MySims Kingdom

Travis' hair and facial features remain the same. He now wears a white button down shirt, a black jacket, and a black tie. Travis also has gray pants.

MySims Agents and MySims SkyHeroes

Travis's hair and skin remain the same, but his eyebrows are now thicker, his eyes are slightly different than before, his smirk line is gone. He now wears a blue shirt with red and white stripes going diagonally, a green wristband on his right wrist, gray pants, along with red and white shoes. However, the necklace he wears in the other games is not present.

In other games

• Travis appears in The Sims 4 in Willow Creek along with Liberty and Summer.
  • The three of them are given surnames in the game. Their full names are Travis Scott, Summer Holiday, and Liberty Lee.
  • Travis' name is also the stage name of American rapper, singer and songwriter Jacques Bermon Webster II.

Trivia

Development

• If the player sends Travis on Liberty's dispatch mission, Snake on the Loose, he will say Liberty brings Mr. Venom to school all the time, meaning he is between 14 and 18, as well as Liberty, Summer, and Chaz, since they are all students at The Royal Academy.

Dispatch Missions

• If the player sends Travis on Renée's dispatch mission, Pig, Camera, Action, he will ask if he should check for traffic or movie times.
• If the player sends Travis on Walker's fifth dispatch mission, One More Time, he will say there is the most amazing phone in the world, but every store is sold out and he can't get it, meaning that is his worst nightmare.

Inconsistencies

• Travis is voiced by Scott Menville in MySims and Roger Jackson in every subsequent console game. This decision was likely made to differentiate him from Chaz, the only other male student at The Royal Academy in MySims Kingdom.
• In MySims, Travis' best friend reward is the Couch - Soccer blueprint, but he doesn't have Athletic as an interest in MySims Agents.
• In MySims Party, he wears a sweater vest and tie on the cover, but wears his MySims outfit in the actual game.
• Travis' smirk is always on the right side of his face, but his MySims Agents dialogue icon depicts it on the left side.

Statistics

• Travis is one of 6 Sims to not have a house in MySims Party (DS).
• Travis is the only recruitable agent in MySims Agents that must be hired.

Other

• In MySims: Prima Official Game Guide, Travis is listed with a slightly different profile: "Don’t let his boyish looks fool you—Travis takes his fun very seriously. He plans to see the world…and learn to shave."
• When Travis is on his phone in MySims Agents, he say a Simlish phrase similar to, "Oh no, she didn't!"
• Unlike Makoto, who always hangs out at Club Candy regardless of whether or not she is hired at the Sim Protection Agency, Travis is no longer seen on Main Street once the player and Buddy at Headquarters, even if the player fires him.
