Telescope is a Studious essence obtained from prospecting. They are exclusive to only PC version of MySims, as this essence is only found in the Gardens. Not everyone has the same essences in their Gardens, therefore, it may be possible you may not obtain this from prospecting in your own Gardens. You may have to find a friend with a Gardens that has Telescopes.
