Poppy is a young girl who loves flowers, rainbows, and stickers. She owns the flower shop in Town Square and is one of the 5 Sims who stayed in town after the Essence Master disappeared, along with Mayor Rosalyn P. Marshall, Buddy the Bellhop, Patrick Rhino, and her sister, Violet Nightshade. Poppy lives in a small house on Cutopia with her own flower garden. She hosts the Happy Festival and the Bloomin' Blossoms minigame. She also runs a flower stand in the park on Main Street in the City, as well as another flower shop in Speedville.
Game roles[]
Appearance[]
Poppy has pale skin, black eyes with a slight eyelash, thin eyebrows, and a slight smile.
MySims, SimCity Creator (Wii), MySims Party, MySims Racing, MySims Agents[]
Poppy as black hair in pigtails with slightly spiked ends held in flower-shaped hair bands; a pink one on her right and an orange one on her left. She wears a sleeveless yellow tank top under a denim overall dress with an unfastened strap, yellow socks with petal-shaped openings, and brown Mary Janes. Poppy also wears three red bracelets on her right wrist, a green one on her left, and a light brown sling bag over her right shoulder.
Alternate Outfit[]
If a player has Poppy on their team while playing Bloomin' Blossoms, the host Poppy will wear an alternate outfit to differentiate the two Violet from each other. Her alternate outfit the same as her original one, but the tank top is white, her denim overall dress is pink, her socks are turquoise, and the three bracelets on her right arm are dark blue. Her Mary Janes, the bracelet on her left wrist, and sling bag are the same, except the flap is turquoise to match her socks.
MySims Kingdom[]
Poppy has brown hair, similar to her usual black hair, in yellow hair ties with small flowers. She wears a short green dress, a pink scarf, and orange and yellow striped leggings.

Trivia[]
Development[]
- As seen in a beta version of MySims video, Poppy's flower shop originally occupied the same lot as Violet's house in the final game. Her shop was also purple and the sign featured a rose instead of a daisy.
- Poppy wears yellow socks in MySims and MySims Party, white socks in MySims Racing and MySims Agents, and striped socks in MySims Kingdom.
- The white socks can also be seen in some pre-release screenshots of MySims, and the render visible on the main menu.
Inconsistencies[]
- In the MySims intro, Poppy's flower shop has a pink door and roof, and a flamingo in the front. However, her starting shop has a green door, brown roof, and no flamingo in-game.
- Although her door was pink in MySims Party.
- Poppy's icon in MySims Agents, as well as the final flashback cutscene at the Boudreaux Mansion, depict her as having brown hair, despite having black hair in-game. It is shown in pre-release screenshots that she was originally going to have her MySims Kingdom appearance.
References[]
- Poppy may have named her dog Dogwood after the dogwood flower, given her love for flowers.
- Although Poppy does not appear in MySims SkyHeroes, Violet mentions her, saying she misses her.
Statistics[]
- In MySims, Poppy dislikes Violet's primary interest, Spooky, and Violet hates Poppy's primary interest, Cute, but they both have Fun as their secondary interest.
- They also both like flowers, but Poppy liked freshly-bloomed flowers while Violet prefers dead and emaciated flowers.
- Poppy and Violet both own a pet and a flower stand/shop between each version of MySims Agents.
Other[]
- Poppy's last name may be "Nightshade", like Violet's, or "Flowers", as mentioned in MySims Agents, although it is unknown whether she was serious or if she was kidding.
- In MySims Agents, once all of Poppy's letters are found, the player says "I have to get this back to the Headquarters." Poppy responds by asking "Are you going to fire up the jet?", revealing she somehow found out about it or knew how far the mansion was from the city.
- In MySims Agents, Skip Rogers claims Poppy is beating him in popularity, believing she may have an interest in politics, or he was just over-reacting.
- Poppy is voiced by Nicki Rapp.
