The Pickaxe is a tool given to the player by Mayor Rosalyn P. Marshall upon reaching Star Level 3. It is used to break rocks blocking paths, such as the entrance to the desert and other access points in the desert and forest.
The Pickaxe is also one of Elmira Clamp's tools in MySims Kingdom (Console). The Royal Wandolier can use it for mining after convincing Elmira] to give it to them, a decision she later regrets.
