Differences between original versions[]

  • The user interface and model textures in MySims were redone to be higher quality.[4]
  • Both games now have widescreen support, much like MySims (PC).
  • The MySims remaster includes the PC-exclusive Sims and the Gardens, but not the online multiplayer functionality.[5]
    • In MySims (PC), every player had different essences in their Gardens. Players are able to find all PC-exclusive Essences in MySims: Cozy Bundle. [6]
  • The loading screens are shorter now, so there are no more Tips.
  • When giving stuff to a Sim on the Wii, a translucent blue shape would appear behind the Sim. In MySims for PC and Switch, this shape does not appear.
  • Both games no longer support the Wii's motion controls.

Additions to Switch[]

  • MySims: Cozy Bundle supports touch screen controls.
  • MySims: Cozy Bundle has an auto-save feature during loading screens.
  • There is a new "harvest" button on trees.
  • There is a new braided updo hairstyle in the Switch release of MySims.
    • This was in the the original game files, but inaccessible.
  • Bobaboo can be fed and pet in the Switch release of MySims Kingdom.
