Fishing

Fishing is a way of obtaining fish/essences in the MySims series. Usually, the player can find regular fish species, but they may also obtain objects in MySims, such as tires. The fish in mySims Kingdom are all regular|and are all needed for Barney's task, A Fishy Proposition, as well as various scrolls throughout the game.

MySims[]

In MySims, the player approaches a fishing spot and presses A to begin fishing. The player moves the bobber around by waving the Wii Remote. Bubbles indicate a fish is there. Move the bobber towards the fish, which will attempt to grab the bait. Pull the Wii Remote up catch the fish.

MySims Kingdom[]

Fishing in MySims Kingdom is similar to MySims. However, instead of using motion controls for moving the bobber, the player uses the analog stick on the Nunchuk to move the bobber around. Just like in mySims, move the bobber around bubbles and pull it out shaking the Wii Remote.

MySims Kingdom (Console)[]

Fish are collectable essences which Barney Cull asks the Royal Wandolier to collect for him. Every time the Wandolier presents a new fish to Barney, he will talk about it a little bit and give a reward. There are 24 different fish found throughout the kingdom.

Fish are required to complete some late game tasks. You can sell them to Chef Gino, who gives $300 per small fish and $700 per large fish.
