Princess Butter is King Roland's daughter. She is extremely spoiled and, despite caring for her father, can frequently be found disrespecting him while demanding gifts. Princess Butter often throws a temper tantrum when she doesn't get her way, but has a soft spot for cute and fluffy animals like unicorns. She lives on Capital Island with her father and his wizard, Marlon, in their castle. When the player begins their journey as a Royal Wandolier, Princess Butter will get in their way a few times, and they will have to put their skills to the test to overcome her challenges. She has a flaring temper, but becomes kinder after getting to know her.

Later on, Butter eventually realizes if she curbs her selfish behavior and showed more compassion to those around her, she would have some friends. After earning a lot of King Points, she will ask the Royal Wandolier to spruce up the stairway leading to the harbor gate. If the Royal Wandolier is a female, Princess Butter will gift her princess outfit if the two develop a good friendship. King Roland seems to wish his daughter was nicer, because she keeps demanding more ponies when he said he'd get her a unicorn. Even though Princess Butter can be a spoiled brat, all she really wants is to have real friends.

Profile

Princess Butter is the apple of King Roland's eye, although some residents of Capital Island might describe her as spoiled rotten. She has a temper when angry, but can easily be praised with a new pony or two.

Task

Buttering Up Butter

Objective: Socialize with Princess Butter to get the Gear Scroll.
Travelogue, during task: Princess Butter will tell you where she hid the Gear Scroll only if you be extra nice to her…with sugar on top!
Butter, during task: We royalty do not simply talk like commoners! We socialize!
Butter, after completing task: See? Wasn't that fun? How come you don't play with me more often instead of hanging around Buddy and Lyndsay all the time? Okay, I hid the Gear Scroll in a chest near my mushroom garden.
Travelogue, after concluding task: Ok, well, even though it hurts to have to be nice to Butter, that wasn't TOO bad, now was it?

Appearance

Princess Butter wears a light blue hennin (A conical headdress worn by princesses and other nobility), a sleeveless powder blue dress with pink roses patterned on the lower layer and rose shaped accents throughout, as well as long, white gloves. Butter has pale skin, rosy cheeks, sparkling blue eyes, and curly pink hair styled in an ornate manner, with buns and braids adorning each side.

In her beta appearance, she has long, straight blonde hair and black eyes, and her dress is different from her dress in the actual game, being a pale blue with white accents, as well as a white petticoat, and having short sleeves.

Trivia

• Butter is one of only four new Sims in MySims Kingdom to not appear in another game, along with Duchess Beverly, Lord Daniel, and Rusty.
  • Although, both Butter and Daniel are mentioned in Marlon’s dispatch missions in MySims Agents (Wii).
  • In Magical Assistant, Marlon is trying to decide whether Butter or Daniel would make a good magical assistant. Marlon mentions that Butter and the rest of the royal line carry much magical attitude, whether he meant Butter was able to learn magic fast or actually had unknown magical abilities. In Magical Disaster, Marlon calls out that Butter wasn't happy about the situation.
  • Marlon will also mention Butter is other dispatch missions he is sent on.
• Butter could have gotten her name because butter can be used for cupcake frosting and her father has an obsession with cupcakes. It could also be a food related pun, as Roland and Butter could sound like "Roll and Butter".
• It is unknown how Princess Butter and King Roland are related to Duchess Beverly and her son, Lord Daniel, but Marlon speaks of them all being part of a royal line.
• Princess Butter is similar to Beebee, both having light pink hair, liking Cute, and being princesses.
  • Though Butter is an actual princess for being part of the royal line, Beebee is a self-proclaimed bunny princess.
• In the beta version of MySims Kingdom (Wii), Princess Butter had a different look and the same facial features as Poppy.
• Butter often mentions her servants, despite the fact that no one besides herself, King Roland, and Marlon are in the castle.
• When the Royal Wandolier visits Forest of the Elves, Lyndsay says Butter would flip out if she ever came, because of the unicorns.
• In MySims Agents (DS), Ginny says she uses the same makeup as Princess Butter.
