Cowboy Junction is a large, desert island in King Roland's kingdom. The island consists of Chef Gino's outdoor pizza café and tomato farm, a blacksmith, Roxie Road's home and cow pasture, a mountaint for mining, a town jail, and Rusty's hillside hideout. According to Barney Cull's atlas of the kingdom, Cowboy Junction doesn't get a lot of rainfall. The island gets its fresh water from underground springs and its residents use the water pumps to water the plants, as well as other uses.
Ship conversation[]
Buddy: Hey, Lyndsay, what's in Cowboy Junction?
Lyndsay: If I had to guess, I'd say it's inhabited by a race of strange fish-people, Buddy.
Buddy: Wow, for real?
[brief pause]
Lyndsay: That was sarcasm, Buddy. There's probably "cowboys" in Cowboy Junction.
Buddy: Ohhhhh...
Hey, Lyndsay, know what? I'm a Fish Man!
Lyndsay: Is that right?
Buddy: Just kidding! I tricked you with a sarcasm!
Lyndsay: ...
Plot[]
The Royal Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay arrive at Cowboy Junction when Sheriff Ginny shows up riding on a fake horse, mistaking them for bad guys. Buddy tells Ginny that they aren't actually bad guys and she apologizes, saying there's nothing to do but take Gino's Pizza Tour. Buddy is enthusiastic about getting free samples and Lyndsay decides they should go on the pizza tour.
The group meets with Chef Gino, who first leads them to his flour mill. It turns out the gears running on his flour mill have been stolen. He then decides to ask Ol' Gabby for assistance to help the Wandolier get the flour mill up and running again. Ol' Gabby tells the Wandolier they need more than gears to fix up the flour mill and gives a scroll for axles. After the Royal Wandolier gets the flour mill running again, Gino demonstrates its functions. He soon finds out the pipes that watered the tomato plants used in his pizza's sauces have been stolen as well. The Wandolier gets the Water Scroll to obtain water pipes so the tomatoes can be watered again.
After the tomatoes are watered, Gino continues the tour to the dairy farm where he makes his "world-famous cheese." Roxie Road, the milkmaid, is seen complaining about how dusty the countryside is as the group approaches her. Gino asks Roxie to demonstrate this part of the tour, but Roxie tells Gino the fences for the cows have been stolen (with Rusty cackling in the background where the fences were).
Gino is shocked and worries about how he won't be able to do the pizza tour correctly. Roxie, realizing the player is a Wandolier, says she may be able to repair the fences with their help. She gives the Wandolier the Fenced-In scroll, asks the to put the fences back after completing the scroll, and herd the cows back to the pasture. Then, she will demonstrate her job as a milkmaid by milking one of her cows. Gino then declares the tour is over, and mutters to himself about doing a business totally unrelated to pizza.
The Royal Wandolier secretly follows Chef Gino to Ol' Gabby's shack. Gino orders a horseshoe for good luck (he is afraid his pizza won't be good if he doesn't have any luck). Ol' Gabby goes to the mine for the horseshoe materials, but is stopped by the lack of a bridge to the cliff with the mining rock. Gabby, seeing the Wandolier, asks them to build a bridge to get across. After the Wandolier builds a new bridge, Gabby immediately goes to start mining. The story fast forwards to when Gabby finishes with the horseshoe. He and Gino then start talking, and while they are distracted, Rusty steals the horseshoe and Gino is launched into despair once again. He pleads for the Wandolier, Buddy, and Lyndsay to not reveal his dependability on the horseshoe. Gabby goes to Sheriff Ginny to ask her to help out with the problem, and she asks the Wandolier to help by searching for 10 clues, which are all red bandanas. Recognizing these bandanas, Ginny trudges up to Rusty's Hideout and decides to arrest him before removing his bandana.
Once reaching the hideout, however, Ginny realizes Rusty is doing crimes in the Junction because he is lonely and having no fun. Ginny tries to be friends with him, but Rusty refuses to quit his criminal life. Ginny asks the Wandolier to socialize with Rusty to encourage him to talk and be friends. After succeeding, Rusty asks the Wandolier to redo his hideout as a favor and gives the Pineapple Picnic, Camping Out, and Fishing in Stereo Scrolls to help out. Rusty is overjoyed and regrets his criminal life after receiving a furnished hideout.
Lyndsay, Buddy, Ginny, Rusty, and the Wandolier come to Gabby, Gino, and Roxie, who are talking. Gabby yells in anger at Rusty, but Ginny says they've reconciled. Rusty hands the horseshoe back to Gino, apologizes for his actions and tells him he doesn't need the horseshoe because he is a great chef. Gino declares he will no longer depend on the luck of horseshoes and, to Gabby's disappointment, decides not to buy anymore. Everyone then dances in celebration while Gabby plays his fiddle, ending the story.

Trivia[]
- Grandma Ruthie mentions she had a cookie shop on Cowboy Junction, but her flour was stolen, most likely by Rusty.
- Strangely, residents can somehow walk up to the small cliff behind Gino's café, where the Pitcher Plant is found, and get stuck there, rendering them unable to get down. This can be fixed by entering and exiting a residence or by leaving the island and coming back.
- Cowboy Junction is the largest island in the kingdom.
