Commercial Sims are Sims in MySims (Console/PC) whose homes will double as a business when they reside in town. Their homes have a special layout of a large big room and a medium room. All Commercial Sims, except Buddy, will have tasks the player to build certain furniture for them. Each Star Level will bring new Commercial Sims, with the exception of Star Level 5. Completing tasks for Commercial Sims will raise the town's Star Level and gain friendships, special blueprints, and decoratives.

Upon becoming a Commercial Sim's best friend, they will reward the player with their outfit, which can be found in the Dresser or Costume Chest. Commercial Sims have special reactions for when a player does a social interaction with them, as well as special actions they do while standing around (such as Vic Vector playing a portable video game, or Elmira Clamp reading a book while standing). Each Commercial Sim will have special house parts, which can be used on future buildings from that point. Up to two Sims can be in a Commercial Sim's home at a time (not including the player and the Sim living there).

There are 20 Commercial Sims in MySims (Wii), while there are 26 in MySims (Switch/PC).

Star Levels[]

Star Level 0[]

The beginning starts with Rosalyn P. Marshall, who is the town mayor, introducing the town and helping the player get settled in. She has only one task, which is to build her a podium with 4 Red Apple essences. Buddy, the bellhop and sole hotel employee, has no tasks, but will be happy if the player spruces up the hotel with decorations. After helping Rosalyn, Poppy's 3 tasks to improve her flower shop become the key to reaching the first star level, and give the Flower Stand blueprint.

Star Level 1[]

Star Level 1 brings 3 new Sims: Chef Gino Delicioso, who asks for the pizza oven; DJ Candy Supergroove, who asks for a turntable and stereo; and Sir Vincent Skullfinder, who asks for a sarcophagus for his final task. The player must move in Chef Gino and either DJ Candy or Sir Vincent to advance to the next Star Level.

Star Level 2[]

Star Level 2 will bring 4 Commercial Sims: Elmira Clamp, who asks for a bookcase; Ms. Nicole Vogue, who asks for a changing booth; Roxie Road, who asks for an ice cream freezer; and Vic Vector, who asks for a television and an Arcade Game.

Star Level 3[]

Star Level 3 will bring 5 new Commercial Sims: Master Aran, who only asks for training dummies; Goth Boy, who asks for a pipe organ; Dolly Dearheart, who asks for a Costume Chest; Shirley, who asks for a salon chair; and Chef Hisao Watanabe, who asks for a Hot Tub to store his fish in, along with a karaoke machine.

Star Level 4[]

Star Level 4 will bring the last 5 new Commercial Sims: Dr. F, who asks for a tesla coil; Trevor Verily, who asks for a stage; Professor Nova, who asks for a telescope; Madame Zoe, who asks for a giant crystal ball[ and Cap'n Ginny, who asks for a pirate ship to re-enact battles.

Additional Sims[]

6 new Commercial Sims are introduced in MySims (PC), each attributed to one of the interests:

Natalia, Flipper, and Wendalyn will visit the hotel at Star Level 3. Alexa, Cedella, and Terry will visit at Star Level 4.
These Sims return in MySims: Cozy Bundle.

Notes[]

If the player gives a Commercial Sim an item to become their best friend and later removes it, they cannot best friends again unless the player puts it back, even if they have replaced it with other items.
Although Shirley and Master Aran are accessible at Star Level 3, their final tasks cannot be completed until reaching Star Level 4.
