The Chalet (also known as the Mountains), is a snowy region outside the City. The player visits the Mountains with Buddy and Evelyn Gray after figuring out who ransacked Evelyn's apartment to solve the disappearance of a young man named Preston Winthrop Esquire. Preston and his girlfriend Beebee were having a snow picnic in the mountains. Preston disappeared after Beebee left to get him hot cocoa.

Government agents Rosalyn and Vic were sent to investigate the case before the player showed up. The player ends up meeting a yeti named Paul Wisniewski in a mountain cave. The next morning, the ski lodge is vandalized and Preston returns claiming he was kidnapped by a yeti. Paul arrives and Rosalyn arrests him, assuming he vandalized the lodge and refuses to let him go until proven innocent. The player later concludes that Preston was the one who vandalized the lodge in a yeti costume as he previously bought the surrounding properties and wanted to buy the lodge to acquire enough land to build one of his water bottle factories.

Trivia

• Like the Boudreaux Mansion and the Jungle Temple, the Chalet cannot be revisited after the story is completed.
• Everyone except Paul becomes potential recruits for the Sim Protection Agency once the story is completed.
• The Chalet is the only location in MySims Agents with no F-Space Manipulator Mana Vent.
• MySims (DS) and MySims Kingdom (DS) both have mountain areas as well. MySims Racing also has a similar area called Snowy Mountain.
• All cars in the parking lot have the same license plate.
