Annie Radd hosts the Make the Band! minigame. She needs help selecting a guitarist for her concert, so she holds a contest to see who could be her best guitarist. Whenever the spotlight hits one of the players, that player must shake the Wii Remote and play the guitar. If the player gets a high score in Annie's minigame, she will move to Sunshine Beach and can be selected as a teammate.

About Minigame
- Just relax and follow the commands. Of course, if you mess up, the crowd will riot and you'll lose some points.
- It takes a lot of "Stamina" to play guitar. I wanna rock the world, so please don't mess up, 'K?
- The guys that run the lights are pretty uptight. If you mess up your performance, they'll lower your time in the spotlight!
- I could sure use a band member who can get 70 points in my mini-game and really rock the crowd. I'm sure you can do it!
